Dear Christafari and the Lion of Zion family,
I just wanted to send a shout out and say a big mahalo for all of the awesome music that has really ministered to me and inspired me. Praise God! The awesome music of Christafari, Monty G., Sherwin Gardner, and Junior C. has really been an encouragement over the past year and I praise and thank God that he has blessed these artists with the gifts and talents that they have been such good stewards over.
On April 24th I will make 1 year clean and sober, drug-free and living for Christ and the things that God has done for me in my life truly are awesome. I am currently in my second semester of college, actively involved in the youth ministry in Honolulu, working a full time job, and leading my own weekly Bible Studies with new born-again believers.
Being brought up in foster homes and poverty and such, reggae music had always been my way of escape, along with weed; and like many others I idolized Bob Marley... I still have respect and appreciation for his music, but he didn't die for my sins, and Jesus is the one who sits on the throne of my heart. But anyways the music of Lion of Zion really helped me out in the turning points in my life when I decided to live for Christ. It helped me to realize that I can be Christian and still listen to my favorite music.
I know you must get a whole lot of fan mail. But I just wanted to say thank you for being such a blessing in my life and an inspiration to many more here in Hawaii and all over the world.
- That's awesome that Priesthood is on the second ragamuffin hip hop compilation, they were really cool guys when I met them last month (they performed here at Word of Life)
- Is there any chance of a Lion of Zion produced concert here in Hawaii any time soon? I know there's a few local groups here that have been inspired and would love to be openers (Native Roots, Seven Simple Pieces, Big Break...)
Thanks for taking the time to read this and God Bless.
M.B.

Dear Tansoback:
I had started buying Christafari Cd's 10 yrs. ago and have always enjoyed your music as it penerates deep within my soul drawing me closer to God. I had stumbled across the new Gravity album while in a Christian Store on my 27th b-day (Feb. 12th) and let me tell you it was the greatest gift for me to bring it home and to listen to it wherever I drive as well. This has
got to be the finest, highest quality, expressive, blessed album you guys have made. All in my eyes and ears of course, but you guys always amaze me. You just keep getting and better. What a blessing to God to continue on in your walk with him, chanting all the way. May you continue touching many lives on this earth, expanding His Kingdom through wonderful melodic music, and all other actions you perform within His will :)
With true thanks for putting out another fine Album that is good for the soul!
In all Sincerity and Brotherly Love,
D.P.

Will Christafari produce something better than 'Gravity'? Theis cd is just too much! I am blessed and ministered to beyond words. 'Visions from the Father', 'Gravity', very deep. God bless the works of your hands and may al your needs be met in Jesus' name

I think Christafari are one of the most essential christian bands in the world, the music is of & for Gods glory, it's just such a blessing to hear good bible based music that isn't just cut & paste, mass produced & formulated for uptight, middle class norbergs. In my opinion, most christian music is produced by sub-standard artists that can't cut it in main stream music, it seems that they either go christian or country. Having said that, there are a handfull of bands/artists that do produce good Praise music & Christafari are one of them. Be good, be well be Blessed. --Wayne

Thank you,
I read all your stuff on beliefs, ways of life, herb...dreads...Jah, ect, Thank you, you helped me to reaffirm my own beliefs that we don't need herb to bring us closer to God, we only have to ask Jah himself and he will give more wisdom and enlightenment than we can handle. When Christ left the cross, he left behind his power, the Holy Spirit, in each one of us...that's all we'll ever need....Peace, may you all be blessed, now, tomorow and in the day of eternity.
-- Respect.
