GospelReggae.com, the world's largest online retailer of gospel reggae, has begun a partnership with Tehilla Radio/Tehilla TV, the largest online Caribbean gospel radio station. GospelReggae.com is now the official webstore of Tehilla Radio and Tehilla Radio is the exclusive radio station for GospelReggae.com.
Tehilla Radio/TV was birthed by Marcus Romero out of a passion for gospel reggae, dancehall and hip-hop. Romero started off as a street DJ, opening for various concerts, road shows and events in Trinidad. He began hosting his own shows on FM radio over 10 years ago (where he can still be heard weekly). Striving to reach an audience far beyond his sunny Caribbean isle, Marcus first cut his teeth on internet radio in 2003. On New Years Eve 2004, Tehilla, (which is Hebrew for "highest praise") was born.
"This new partnership is a huge step up from the Live 365 station that we've been running for the last few years." Said GospelReggae.com president and founder Mark Mohr. "I first met Mr.TM (Marcus Romero) during a radio interview when I was living in Trinidad a few years ago. We hit it off and I've been following his career ever since. We've had our eye on Tehilla since they first began broadcasting online. When we were looking for ways to expand our reach on radio, Tehilla was the perfect fit!"
Tehilla Radio/TV is currently based in Arima, Trinidad. Trinidad and Tobago has long been one of the main epicenters of gospel reggae, bringing forth artists like Sherwin Garnder, Isaac Blackman, Avion Blackman, Positive, Koen Duncan, Tiko Angelos, Gitta Dan, Jadee, Mention, Sons of Zion, Mr. Danny and many others. Tehilla presently has eight exclusive live shows and some of the Caribbean's top gospel DJs from around the world airing weekly.
